November 2011

Congratulations to the officers on a job well done for the one chair move up during our stated meeting in October.  For some it was their first time ever doing ritual work in lodge.  Don't forget next month the officers move up two chairs.

Congratulations to Brothers Felipe Pinero and Russell Smith who were elected dual members of our lodge and to Brother Mitchell Liming who was initiated an Entered Apprentice during a special communication on Oct 11th.  The degree work was well done. The good news is we have committees of investigation appointed and at work as well as word of some more new petitions coming to us. It will be a pleasure to have a busy fall and to see our membership grow. Remember our stated meeting on Dec. 6th will be when the officers give their annual reports and elections are held.

During the month of November we need to take time to give thanks and remember our military men and women who are in foreign lands protecting us and our freedoms. And their families who are doing their best to carry on during the service membersí absence.  With Thanksgiving Day approaching if possible give something of what you have to an organization that helps support those in need to help them and their families during this holiday.

Life is busy and tumultuous at times and I would ask you at the end of each day to join with me in the privacy and quiet of your home before retiring to pause for a moment and reflect upon your day and the several Masonic lectures. Remembering as good men we strive to make ourselves better.

 Bob Harper, Senior Warden
